Which Countertop Material is Better for a Bathroom -- Quartz or Granite?
Both materials are beautiful, strong and durable, and we offer a variety of options in each material at New Life Bath and Kitchen.
Most people prefer quartz for their bathroom counters, as it’s often a less-expensive countertop option than granite. Because it never has to be sealed (granite must be sealed yearly), many homeowners prefer the lack of maintenance required with quartz.
When it comes to style, quartz is manufactured, so its appearance can be controlled. You get the exact pattern, texture, and color that you want. Some like the controlled appearance of quartz, while others appreciate the varied, unique look of granite. We’re proud to get our quartz and granite from the helpful team at Pacific Shore Stones.
Bathroom Cabinets: Reface or Replace?
Many people are surprised to learn we can usually replace your bathroom cabinets with Waypoint for about the same price as refinishing cabinets. When you replace your cabinets, you also get the benefit of new boxes and drawers with full-extension, soft-close drawer boxes. Made of plywood, these add value to your home.
If you already have the counters you want in your bathroom, refacing is also a great option. With many door styles and finishes to choose from, you can customize your look. We can handle the process quickly, with minimal disruption.
